Default Short term accommodation in Brisbane?

Hi,
Planning to spend a week in Brisbane in the Hotel Watermark, Brisbane - Has anyone been there? Is it any good, any other recommendations on hotels in Brisbane?

Just booked flights five minutes back , and need information on hotels, so any information would be gratefully welcomed

Brisbane here we come

Bye,
IndieGirl

Thanks Scotty. Most of them are full at that time, so will check it out right away. Has anyone stayed at The Holiday Inn on Roma Street.

What is the best way to travel to Australia Zoo from Brisbane CBD? Bus, Train?

Thanks

The first one is a full blown apartment hotel, and it had fantastic facilities.

Second one was just a hotel. Room was big, but decor was tired. Breakie was OK, hotel bar was OK. I stayed there for a couple of nights as part of a 3 week business trip, and from all of the hotels, it was the worse.

well I would say rental car would be the best as its up the motorway and you just turn off... other than that I would say theres a bus from the city that will go to it.. from what I remember there was no rain near it.. but Im only saying from what I saw when we drove past it

Australia Zoo is a bit out of the way - but they do their own coach from Brisbane. When you get here, best place to go would be the information centre on the Queen Street Mall (v. easy to find) and they will be able to sort that out!

Crazy, crazy Australia Zoo....
Welcome to Brisbane (in advance)
