Im trying to book accommodation on arrival in July (Gold Coast). We are looking at Robina/Varsity area to rent however, need accommodation for when we arrive just wondering 2-3 weeks short term is that usually enough to allow to find, rent and move into a long term let? Also Broadbeach, Burleigh areas seem to have more apartments etc for short term let anyone ideas of other areas where I might find some accom or website? thanks

I cant help with suggestions in that area for accomodation, but I see that you have a couple of littlun's so IMO, I would recommend looking at maybe 4 weeks in a furnished.

You will need to look at rentals, schools maybe, cars, organize medicare, banks etc etc.

4 weeks should give you time to do all that, and enjoy yourselves a little as well.

My Place is probably in the wrong area for you....it's up in the Bayside area.

But try looking at the Stayz and Takeabreak websites - there's HEAPS of short term lets on those.
