Just to confirm you wont be able to transfer your existing gamertag to an Australian account you will have to set up a totally new user for Australia (same on the 360 as well)

I have my old UK PSN and XBL accounts on my machines here which I used when I first came over but im slowly playing more and more with my Australian accounts now so I can phase my UK ones out.

Of course if you keep a UK bank account open you can just top up credit from there and keep your UK accounts live but its a PITA.

I sent my Xbox 360 over in a box with a few other things via airmail, and it arrived working within about a week by the time it had cleared customs.

Well we are going to be flying with Singapore Airlines and the hand luggage limit is 7KG and PS3 is 5KG :S I know i can manage a 24hour flight without anything but a book and inflight entertainment, besides my missus can put my psp in her allowance LOL! Im going to look for a carrycase now :P

Excess charges i think is like £37 a KG over limit, not to bad. But I did notice that laptops are not included in the weight allowance, so maybe they will allow me to take the PS3 in its place? I will email them now and just find out if they will allow that.

They have the right to ask you, but unless they have suspicions they are highly unlikely to.
