Default Shipping two bikes, clothes and musical instruments - any advice please?

Hello

I am interested in just shipping two bikes, lots of drums and clothes and other small bits and pieces - any suggestions on an affordable way to do this please and any recommendations for companies I could approach for a quote?

Many thanks

Make sure your bikes are really well cleaned and disinfected with something like "Virkon S".

Did this with my bike and it got through no problem.

Someone in another thread also recommended taping the empty Virkon packets to the boxes the items are stored in, as proof they've been properly cleaned.

I know it's not you, but I can't really see how taping empty packets to a box will prove to AQIS that the items inside have been cleaned.

Erm .... we brushed our bikes with an ordinary household brush (as in brush and dustpan).

Our bikes got through without any problem, too.

It's a long-standing BE myth that everything has to be disinfected. "Clean" will do just fine.

John Masons were absolutely fab. The only thing that has been straight forward in our move to date Course.... hasn't actually arrived in Bris yet so time for that to go pear shaped too!
Seriously, they were great.
