Re: Shipping timelines. Container left yesterday.
There is a recent thread on here called Good Removal Companies, just search for it, sorry new to the site and not sure how to put the thread link directly into this reply, I am not very computer savvy!!
But it will give you people's recent feedback on companies and costs. We are going to Sydney in December 2010 and have had quotes from Crown Relocation of £3,999 and John Masons at £3652. These are for sole use of 20ft containers excluding insurance.
I haven't decided which to go with yet. We have a small relocation package to cover flights and shipping, but and these prices and flight prices at the moment we will still have put our hands into our pockets to cover these costs.
If we didn't have this relocation package, not sure I would bother shipping, but that's another thread full of opinions!

Re: Shipping timelines. Container left yesterday.
Our container is scheduled to arrive in Fremantle next Saturday & we're keeping every thing crossed as it feels like so long ago that our stuff was collected.
We were in Fremantle today & saw a few container ships sitting in the docks & even our 5 year old asked if one of the containers might have our stuff in. I think she wants her toys back!
