can anyone please advise how long furniture takes to be shipped from Perth to Melbourne we have cars too, anything we should be aware of thanks

We are just doing it from PER to BNE. Our cars are on their way and take about 2 weeks. Furniture etc, takes between 2-3 weeks depending on the season. Summer is a little longer with up to 3.

No advice really. Just make your two piles for taking with you, and leaving for the packers. We had a 3rd pile for stuff we posted in advance to ourselves. Its cheaper than paying Qantas extra luggage! And even then we were 3kg over and got hit for $30.
