Question Shipping a small package

I know there have been many posts on this subject so apologies, but i can't find the answer on the searches.

We are planning to send a few clothes (summer clothes) over to friends so we can take suits and things in our luggage when we go.

the cost is the main factor

So can anyone reccomend a cheap and chearful agent, i seem to remember someone posting about a company called lastminute something or other, but i can't find it.

any help welcome

i have just had a quote for 140 quid from excess bagage

but mrs tetley says we need to fly the stuff out there as we are going in 5 weeks:scared:

they will charge between 160 to 210 depending on weight

doesn't seem too bad

If it is only a few clothes then dont bother.
Buy them when you get there, unless of course they are jasper Conran...... YSL .etc

we had thought of that, and worked out it would be cheaper to ship. the thought of mrs tetley buying a new summer wardrobe scares me and the credit card.

sheep? what sheep?

Have you tried the Post Office ? I sent a box over in Oct 2001, paid for sea freight, and it arrived in 5 days !! They did say a delivery time of anything up to 10 weeks. I cant recall the price now, but I did have other companies checked out first, and the Post Office came out a good price.
