Hi all

My god things are picking up a pace over the weekend - we have rented our house and have to be out in 4 weeks - we are off to stay with relatives for a month then fly to Perth in 3rd June - yipeeeeeeeeeeeeee for our new life down under. :scared:

So now the fun starts, has anyone got any good shipping people they can recommend from London area - has anyone heard of Anglo Pacific movers - are they any good?

Anglo pacific have the nik name on here as ***** ******** so do not come recommended. I used Bishops Move found them good,kept me up to date and not a thing broken this end...cant complain at that,would reccommend them...

Crown Relocations get good reports too. They have an office in Perth as well and use their own people at both end (other companies sub-contract the work and you don't know who you end up with).

We used and highly recommend PSS. They gave the lowest quote, by quite a bit. They quoted for both part load and full load as we were just short of a full load, we decided to go for the full load and they put in loads of stuff i had decided to leave but am glad we managed to squeeze in. The packers were great, nothing was broken. They also co-ordinated with us to make sire our stuff left our home at the last possible minute to make the sailing, we were given the route and the names of the vessels and our stuff made it door to door in 5 weeks (including customs & quarantine clearance). They use Kents in Perth who are IMO excellent too.

Yes I have their brochure. Dont know prices or how competitive. We were given it at London Expo at Australia House.
