seven seas is really expensive. We are having doree bonner come round next week but we have a quote of £855 to send 150 cu ft (about 30 tea crates) door to door.

PSS cost about the same, for 6 boxes you could try cargobookers who charge £85 for the first box and £45 or so after that

Thanks Tara
HI Tara,
We also will only be shipping about 5-6 boxes/chests of books and personal possessions. We had Fox booked in for yesterday but they didn't turn up. Was pretty much called a liar on the phone about date and time etc, so they were told to shove it. We have Bishop's Move coming out tomorrow. We met their staff at Emigrate 2005 and really liked them, so will let you know after they have been how much.

Hi Tara,
Bishops Move is part of the Mason group. We called them for our quote which came in at £395 door to door plus insurance. Based on what we are taking it will cost us £60 for 2k worth of cover. They have quoted for 3 tea chests, 3 boxes, telescope and tripod and a box of tools. They said we will have plenty of space and if they can pack it into fewer boxes they will and will then bill us accordingly. I though that was quite good. Hope this helps.

Hi Tara
I used voovit.com they charged 180 quid for delivery and supply of 5 boxes and packing tape. The weight limit wis 30kg per box andif you want to add another box of your own(cheaper to provide an additional one rather than them supplying it) they charged another 20 quid. Cost me 200 pounds for shipment of six boxes! They deliver to your oz address too and all you have to do is the packing list online etc.

Hi Tara

We have used PSS and they have taken 17 boxes and 3 packages (guitars & stands) and the washer and tumble dryer.
This was estimated at £750 and we paid £250 deposit.
They have gone into storage for 4 free weeks as the house sale fell through last week
They were excellent very quick and professional
Give them a ring
