Default Shipping New Stuff

We have bought a fair bit of new stuff to ship so that we don't have to buy it in Sydney. Do we really have to go to the lengths of taking everything out of its packaging and remove tags etc to hide the fact it is new?! Thanks!

I would! not that hard to do compared to the big bill you might get the other end.

I wouldn't bother. We shipped stuff over that was brand new, still in their boxes and customs couldn't care less. Providing you're not trying to ship over 20 Plasmas or 40 Dysons they will not be too bothered. We didn't have them mentioned as brand new on the paper work and to my mind, the original packaging is better than taking it out and putting it in shippers boxes.

A whole house worth of stuff may cause questions, but one or two electrical or white goods products will be fine. If queried, show the invoice and say it was a leaving gift from a loved one but I doubt you would be asked.
