Question Shipping Insurances

Please help with some advice.

What are peoples view on insurances?

1) Go with the removal firm/shippers %
2) Use A Another

Just about to organise shipper but still unsure as to what to do with the insurance side of things. Just wondered what you did / will do.

Thanks

I have another thread going on here about this!! Cant link it or would do, but basically I said that the insurance company our removal company are saying we need to use in order to insure our stuff through them sound like they dont know their arses from their elbows!! Which has worried me a bit!

So I have just spoken to Letton Percival and had a really nice email from them, they seem to be much more competitive that the other company anyway!! Offering 1.53% which is nearly half the other company!!

I say shop around but def look at Letton Percival, their number is 0151 236 4568.

Go with Letton Percival... Seem to offer the best rates around and no one yet (tempting fate here...) seems to have had a bad word to say about them...

We are going for marine insurance, got a quote for about £450 for £20,000 of cover. That is a £250 excess
