Shipping Insurance

Shipping Insurance
Not sure if I've been done up like a kipper here! I opted for the shippers own insurance at 2.5% rather than LP at 1.53%, partly for convenience, and partly because there's a zero excess. The "extras" (derangement, pairs, mildew) were also thrown in.
Now the invoice has come through, and it has not only the 2.5% "Insurance Package", but also an additional 1.15% "Marine all risk insurance".
Has anyone else been caught out like this and/or know what it's all about???
