Default Shipping Insurance

We had shipping insurance through Letton Percival and needed it !!

Our beloved shippers 'lost' some of our stuff (well it never made it onto the shipment), broke others by not wrapping glass (but a battery was well wrapped), bent a metal curtian pole to fit it in the box and a couple of dressing tables were broken.

I emailed Letton the details, provided them with quotes and they've paid up without comment (well they've confirmed they will).

So overall we're glad we're insured and we're impressed with Letton. Not so impressed with the shippers.

Nope not gonna - unless you want to pm me !

On the plus side, there were three packers and the two downstairs were excellent. It's the one upstairs where all the problems happened. He should have been supervised !!
