Container left Friday 24th March from west sussex using PSS. Ship left Sunday 26th March from Southampton.

Now in Melbourne and have had the local customs agent contact me to confirm I arrived okay. Expect it sometime this week coming - then 2 weeks for customs clearance.

Shane

Ours was collected from the house on the 8th March and arrived here on the 25th April. Just waiting for the phone call for delivery.

Sorry, this is Brisbane, just for info.

Hi

Don't rely too much in the quoted times for shipping. We we're told 55 days port to port..... however, the container was taken from Tilbury to Rotterdam, where it was off loaded and sat on the docks for about 20 days! It then went via America and the Panama Canal, South Pacific Islands, New Zealand, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide before finally getting to Perth.
We left 5th Jan, container arrived 5th April.

I guess we were unlucky as it was the actually shipping company who changed the route of the container and not the fault of the removal company, so can't blame them too much. They gave us £100 as a good will gesture when I complained about the delay.

We used F&N International and cost £3,200 for a sole use 20ft container.

Neil.

We left at the end of Feb, but because we had a part container our stuff waited weeks to leave the UK. It's on its way now, but I don't expect to see it much before the end of May, which will be three months.
