Shipping groupage to Brisbane

Hi,

We are going to send a few boxes (roughly 4 to 5 cubic meter boxes) with freight groupage.

The shipping company I got suggested in my country works hand in hand with another based in Melbourne. On their website it says they do deliver to Brissy.

From what I heard, the container lands in Melbourne and then they call you to go and check the boxes and collects them. Obviously I wont be in Melbourne but in Brissy. So I guess someone will check the boxes and will deliver them to Brissy.

I sent tons of emails to this company in Melbourne, and as always () got not reply (typical now, I kinda got used to it coming from Aussies). It's tough to call as I'm either at work or sleeping.

Would anyone know if this is correct (3rd paragraph) and if so what fees you had to pay???

For those who picked up their boxes from Brisbane, did you pay any other fees?

Thanks!!!!!!!!

Cheers

Sorry if this sounds blunt, but why can't you get up a few minutes early? Even if you call at 7:30am you should be able to get someone no problem.

Because I wake up at 5am everyday, do my lunch, dress up etc, drive 20 minutes to a ferry, then the 6am ferry which takes 45 minutes from one island to another, then I take 50 minutes bus and I arrive at work...

No excuse, true, I'll try to find 5 mins before I take the ferry. Thought I'd ask here first while drinking coffee on the ferry or surfing on the bus...

Thanks anyway!
