SHIPPING - FINALLY CLEARED AQIS
Hi All
Just to let you all know our container has finally cleared customs.
We left the UK on 25th September and our worldly goods were packed into a lorry and transferred to the depot as several items needing crating, this being the 14th September. This completed the container should then have left the UK.
WTF
happened between the date it left us and leaving the UK we'll never know, the shipping company were useless not answering calls, not responding to e-mails would def stay clear and would def not use or recommend them. Our container fully packed minus our BED (another story) finally boarded the ship bound for AUS on the 13th November. Nearly two months after we left.
Well SURPRISE SURPRISE it cleared customs with no charges. Astonishing really as we had Fishing Tackle, Golf Clubs, Horse Tack and Harnesses and carriage, And to top it all off all of OH's Joinery tools.
The only thing they confiscated which i wasn't aware were there was Sling Shots used for fishing.
Amazing Should now have delivery by end of next week.

Seems very strange not having the horse stuff not checked due to equine flu.. . sure its not fallen off/got lost

Decent hair cut on the way, along with a decent massage and facial.
As far as i'm aware we were advised today that AQIS had opened and checked the contents. The only thing taken out and illegal happened to be two sling shots in my hubbies fishing tackle.
Grace advised that there appeared to be no charges which we found amazing and that all equiment was suitably cleaned.
