We are hoping to emigrate from Epsm, Surrey UK to Perth later this year. I am beginning to look into shipping. Does anyone have any experience, good or bad, of shipping companies. My Sister used Crown relocations 4 years ago and they seemed very good then.

Would appreciate any advice.

Moved from Worcestershire to Brisbane in November 2009. Used Crown and wouldn't recommend them to even my worst enemy.

There are only two companies world wide that can offer , same company service world wide .......... Crown Relocations and Allied Pickfords, all the others use agent companys , take your pick with what you get.......mm

We moved from Woking 2 years ago to Perth. We used John Masons - their packers were really good and very happy with whole service. They used Kents this end to deliver - they were ok. We unpacked most of the boxes ourselves as it was just easier.

Hi Anna,

Not sure if this shipping company would be of any use but I have stuff currently in transit from UK after a recent trip back to see the Family. They ship to Fremantle which is just down the road from Perth. They collect all boxes etc from your door.

Plus they were pretty cheap but I only had 2 boxes of stuff (30kg a box approx) and they charged me £120 door to port!
