Shipping arrived at last!
 

Our stuff (part-container shipped by Crown) arrived in Hobart yesterday-collected in Carlisle on 6 Jan-no breakages as far as we can tell though and now the house looks like a bomb-site. I can't believe some of the stuff we brought...but our employer was paying after all.

Mine arrived yesterday...so much to do,mines like a bomb site too...and I aint got enough plugs,I need to hoover,use the washing machine etc...

how bizarre.....

mine arrived yesterday after 18 weeks!!!

have just about found space for everything, although a quick trip to ikea was necessary to get another bookcase and a dvd cabinet!

anyone else find stuff in their boxes that they were sure they didn't pack???

yes-when we unpacked everything, we found the movers had carefully wrapped two empty cardboard boxes that we had inadvertently left with our cds!

Our container arrived Tuesday - we are finally unpacked and the house looks normal (for us) - but please dont look down the side of the house :o or open any of the wardrobes :eek: or look in the attic :scared:

Local shipping company coming back to collect remaining packing materials on Monday.

Crikey Ian it took a long time to get to you didnt it?? 6th Jan - 17th May told us it would only take 3 months :confused:

anyway at least it has got there in one piece :)
