Can anyone advise of good shippers as there seem so many and the costs vary greatly.

I have requested quotes for a 20' container, door to door, Lincoln UK to Gulf Harbour just north of Auckland. The firms I have contacted so far are Pickfords, PSS, Homepak, Doree Bonner & DAP International. Any comments about these firms will be greatly received.

I will be using Merseyside Insurance Ltd for container insurance as they are around 50% cheaper, if anyone wants there number let me know and I'll post it on the forum.

My advice Andy is search the forum, there has been a wealth of information posted many times about this.

Also the insurance side of things has changed, Merseyside Insurance is no more. Brian Naughton is but MIS isn't.

Again use the search facility and all will become clear.
