shippers in before exchange of contract???
 

WE should have had exchange of contract last friday! there are 4 in the chain, we are at the top. Two of the buyers are in scotland and are supposed to be leagaly bound to complete next friday, but second buyers have still got to sign there contract for house in england. :curse:Shippers need to come in next week for us to complete for next friday.
Would you risk getting them in with no exchange of contract??????:confused:
We wanted to fly out on 9th march and book flights as soon as had exchange of contract.:unsure:

We put off our shippers until we had exchanged contracts! they were very understanding - just re arranged for the following week until everything went through. We then moved out and into my mums house but still without visas!! it all worked out in the end!! good luck!:thumbsup:

Hi There

We cancelled our shippers twice before eventually loading into container without exchange of contract, this was due to the fact that the shippers wouldn't then be able to load us for another three weeks.

We took the risk and it paid off although ours was going to the depot first for some items to be crated. If all else failed we would have just had to off load back at our old house, we also waited till exchange before we booked flights.

We moved out last Friday after being p*ssed about for 4 months and we kept putting removals guys off - PSS to be exact.
They are aware things go tits up and they can easy book you in a week later.

My opinion?

DONT BE FOOLISH! NOTHING IS CONCRETE UNTILL YOU EXCHANGE.
