Shippers Again!!! Who did you use?
Well Im at the stage where I am having quotes for shipping and although ive read through old threads etc would like to know who everyone else went with !!
Any good or bad comments would also be helpful!!

We are using Overs of Camberley, our container's in Southampton Docks as we speak after being in storage for 6 (FREE!) weeks. It leaves next weds, these guys have been faultless all the way so far and we've been copied in on all communications between the docks, shipping agents, Kents in Perth by Email without having to request them, so far they seem seriously on the ball. Oh and btw we've got 11 days free storage the other side if we need it!
20ft container £3490 with the above extras and they do 2.5% on their insurance also with no excess.
www.overs.co.uk your contact is Gary Fenwick Well worth seeing him, top bloke and right on the money as well. Tellls you all about any "extras" honestly as well (Container cleaning, inspection fees etc)

We used Excess Baggage. The quote was higher than the actual cost (about £2200 for 440 cubic feet). Took 3 guys about 6 hours to pack up our one bedroom flat - they took their time as did not want to be sent to another job if they got back to the depot too early! Only trouble has been the delay on this side with Kent Moving, but should have our things this weekend so can let you know if anything is broken!
