i am currently working in the uk as a fuel tanker driver. I am due to move to townsville in queensland in june 06.Have you got a depot in townsville,p.s i know its early but i am just starting to enquire

we are in the process of applying for a visa to oz, and have asked my brother who now lives in the states if he would like to try and apply as well( which he would). He has years of experience doing the above job, of a fuel tanker driver, in the U.S. and U.K. however i was wondering if you knew how he would go about applying for a visa to get him into oz, as this job is not on the indemand list (as far as we can see), he is 40 yrs old at the mo. just thought i would ask, any advice appreciated.

Because the job is not on the list of wanted, I do not know if he would get in with this experience. The problem is they are in short supply here.
But the above positions need to be filled now. Pity he is not here at the moment.

The job is in Sydney. And requires filled now. Unsure if this particular company has a depo in Townsville.Maybe you can help the person above with his application. Fuel tankers are certainly in demand.

Do you by any chance work for a very well know oil company with a seashore symbol? (I work for them in Melb) Thought all these roles needed people with Dangerous goods certs?
