Default sharing a container in ayrshire

Hiya,
we're off to brisbane in a few months time (hopefully) & have booked a 20ftcontainer..which at around £1600 is working out to be our cheapest option I think....which I think we will probably only 1/2 fill so is there any one else going from our area in the next few months who fancies sharing a container????

hi,we live in cumbria whitehaven to be exact.we are also hoping to move to brisbane in a few months.this sounds a good idea as we need to transport some belongings.we are not taking everything but half container should be adequate.when you say half what size roughly would that be? would you look at splitting the cost down the middle.were abouts in brisbane are you hoping to go?maybe this could happen send me a reply thanks david.

wish i had known someone doing this when we were leaving. In the end we left our stuff in storage in kilmarnock (incase we came back) we decided what we had wasnt really worth shipping, but now i wish we had brought every last thing as i am now positive it does help to make your house a home , regardless of condition of stuff.

BTW i would recommend kilmarnock removals, not sure of shipping costs though, they couldnt have been more helpful to us.

THanks for the info Margaret - I keep changing my mind about whether to ship things or not - we have a four bed house full of stuff and two teenagers so cant help but think we should take some stuff to help them aclimatise. Keep hearing horror stories about the customs charges at Aus though!
