Default Sharing a container

Hi,

Does anyone know how to go about sharing a container, all i have is a 3 boxes and two bicycles..we leave for Brisbane on 1st Jan..i was quoted £110 for One box !!

Ring one of the shippers mentioned on BE, and tell them what you want to ship. They will do the rest. They will just slot your stuff in with other small shipments. Used to take longer than a whole container but there's not much in it now - so many people are moving that you don't have to wait long for the continer to fill.

Would it not be quicker to 'post it' or courier it or whatever. We had stuff (from UK to NZ, part container) wait for months until the right size space became available. Mind you Fox...nuff said.

There is more container traffic to Aus, so that helps. Airfreight is also an option - any of the shipping firms can arrange airfreight for you.

Hi,

Thanks for help have emailed a few companies will have to wait and see.. but air is the most expensive...

We shipped a few boxes over with a company called sevenseas they will also quote you for bikes too. We found them to be very good.
