Share housing in Brisbane
Hi there. Matt has received his spouse visa, and we are leaving for Brisbane at the end of April. When we get there, we're hoping to get a room in a share house for the first 6 months - 1 year. We're hoping this will give us some extra time to build up furniture for our own house, and meet new people aswell. I've looked at some websites, but most share housing is directed at single people. We're both 26, and are looking for work before we get there.
Has anyone any ideas/advice for us?

Check the Courier Mail on Saturdays, in the real estate and careers liftouts or www.seek.com. Might get a cheap flat for yourselves. Could also try caravan parks for on-site vans or cabins for a while, if desperate.
