I have just been given a job promotion with salary increase 
Guess I should be delighted but my mind is elsewhere.

Me too - was given a promotion 2 weeks ago and pay rise back dated to October, but handed my notice in last week anyway!
I'd crack open the bottle.

I was Sales Support Manager then Customer Services Manager and my new title is Regional Sales Manager.
