Shade Sails Perth?

Has anyone got a company they would recommend?
Buying direct from a wholesaler is very reasonable but obviously you still have to install them. But, the difference between what we were quoted and cost of installation (minus actual sails) is really expensive. Like thousands. Bit confused.
Other option over pool is a cantilevered umbrella, but Mr J is convinced it will falll over unless set it concrete (too late as we have liquid limestone around the pool)
Anyone got any experience?
Thanks

Bunnings have a big cantilevered umbrella with a base that you fill with water or sand i think it was about $250 or so, something we've been looking at as our pool is paved all around and we don't want to pull up tiles

personally i wouldnt bother with a shade sail, our friends had one, cost a fortune and didnt keep the rain out. Fine for summer but not so good for spring and winter when it's warm enough to sit out but raining.

Shade Sails.. are for keeping SUN out, and provide varying degrees of uv protection... an absolute must for kids in a pool..

nothing to do with keeping rain out

Absolutely. We have a 7x7m one over the shallow end of our pool and now my son can use it during the day and not only in the morning and evening. It works well.

We had a 7x7m one installed over our pool. It cost just over $3k cash. The expensive part is the powder coated steel supports. They cost about $500 each. The shade sail is relatively inexpensive.
The guy who installed it lives in Gooseberry Hill near me. He's a really nice bloke. I can try and find his number if you want.

Yessssssssssssssssss.... I am well aware of that BUT if you have one over your deck or whatever it is handy to keep the rain out too.... a reason our friends ditched the shade sail and recently built a pergola....

Never mind..... :o
