If that was here, the teacher's name would be plastered all over the papers before deciding if he/she was guilty! Judging by some of the teachers I know, perhaps we should be grateful this one knows how to use the technology

Computer literacy is not a pre-req for teaching, nor is it in any way an indicator in the effectiveness/skill level of a teacher ...unless an IT teacher of course!

Agreed. But at our junior school, Ofsted have said we have to have an IT suite, as well as interactive white boards in each classroom. They have an engineer come in once a week for the whole school. Very often, something happens and the teacher has not got a clue what to do - until a child shows them
Wouldn't mind, but the building needs major works done on it and any spare money is being kept back for an IT suite.
