Sending money back to the UK

This may sound like a silly question but is this a fairly easy thing to do as i will need to send money back to my partner while i am in Aus.
Also is there a limit on amounts that can be sent back?

And good time to do it with the strong AUD.

Makes my life hell as an exporter though, wanting AUD to be worth about 65c US!!
