Default Semi-rural (horsy suburbs) in Sydney

Hi all,

Does anyone know where the semi-rural suburbs are within 30 to 40mins drive to Sydney CBD? So far we've only found Dural...

Thanks

Sydney is a huge city. Almost everywhere within 30-40 minutes drive of the city will be suburbia. There are horsey areas but they're much further out than 30-40 minutes. I don't reckon you'd get from Dural to the city that quick either - maybe at midnight .

Terrey Hills/Ingleside area has some acreage (and very expensive) properties. They'd be more than 30-40 minutes drive though. Cobbitty near Camden is pony-club central. Also it's very rural around Windsor/Richmond in the Hawkesbury area. Both those areas are well over an hour to the CBD.

I think that "semi rural" and 30-40 minutes to the city are mutually exclusive.

unfortunately not many times where there's no traffic

further out but oribital towns like Richmond and Windsor seem quite horsey to me.
Not 100% sure how long the journey in would take, but suffice to say it woulf probably involve toll roads if you wanted it to be anywhere near an hour.

Could you leave your horse at a stable somewhere and you live nearer?

failing that: glue jk.

Any area with a medium house price of under $500k is full of rednecks.
