Great! More for me to worry about. Can't sell the house anyway!

"Yvette Cooper, the Housing Minister, added: "Too many sales fall through because of delays and late information, wasting money and causing great stress for buyers and sellers, that’s why we are introducing the Packs. We have been working with all parts of industry on the detail and this timetable will give them time to fully prepare"."

Still won't stop the little tossers, who aren't even on the market, coming round for a good nose with no intention of buying.

They're all BAST*RDS I TELL YE!!

Arn't sellers just going to put up the asking price of their house to cover the extra cost?!

I pity the buyer with these changes.

A bit like letting car yards write their own roadworthys... :scared:

This puts the vendor in control of your purchase ie building reports and any repairs undertaken on the basis of the report.

And as a vendor would you go for the price that did a good job or just patched it up long enough.....

The whole system sounds like the streaker's defence "It seemed like a good idea at the time your honour!"

Exactly, I bet the surveys in the "pack" will be valuation surveys, not full structurals. Many buyers are still going to have to shell out big time as always.

Typical fiddling around with a f**ked up system.
