Is the 20' a shared 40' or standalone 20'?
Also whats a CBM - is that the collection from house/premesis to location of container?

If by "fumigation" they mean AQIS inspection, you should be aware that the ocst of that isn't known until AQIS actually inspect the container and decide how much to treat/destroy.

Hi Mark,

The 20' is Stand alone mate.

CBM - (per Cubic meter)ie if you have 5.00 cbm it will cost GBP 500.00 ex Delivery Depot

Hi Louise,

In essence - You can put what you like into the container, however be careful with Motorbike, You will need a lot of documentation regarding ownership, Price Paid etc as you will have to pay Duty and Import Tax, also you will have to register with Dept of Transport in OZ.

Make sure you have very little petrol in as well !!!

fumigation is not AQIS inspection that is a separate cost....fumigation is gassing of any wooden items, usually takes 48 hours. Cost of this depends on size of container/LCL-FCL. AQIS inspection is a random check which you have the privelege of paying for!

have been told not worth fumigating at this end as AQIS may still want to do it at the other end anyway.. so best to let them decide.
