Angry Self insurance for shipping

Having arranged for PSS to do our shipping we are in the process of obtaining insurance from that Brian guy at the company in Liverpool.
We received confirmation from PSS this AM and they have asked us to sign a disclaimer saying we have NO comeback on them at all. I feel this is a licence for shoddy workmanship, packing handling etc. and wonder what others have done. If we don't sign, they won't ship but I'm a little uneasy about this.

Think I will call the helpful Mr Brian for his advice on whether we can add some appropriate words to this disclaimer.

Can't help but feel that this is tantamount to intimidation.

Just food for thought.
