self-employment

just about to start the long process of paperwork for migration to Adelaide from the UK. Got lots of questions, first being: has anyone successfully obtained a visa through skilled worker sponsored in designated area? I want to apply as Marketing Specialist thru Vetassess but my references will be from clients, not employers and invoices instead of payslips. anwers gratefully received on a postcard please - more lighthearted questions later!

Have not got a clue to your question BUT welcome to the forum anyway. Adelaide seems to be the flavour of the month just now. Good luck with it all.

thanks Bordy. just got back from a trip to oz - only visited Adelaide and Melbourne - loved Melbourne but Adelaide calls as sister already there and prepared to sponsor.
discovered one of the best kept secrets of melbourne while we were there. thanks for the welcome.
