Anyone know how to go about working for yourself in Brisbane?

I was a self employed plasterer/wall and floor tiler in the UK and wondered if anyone has the ins and outs of how to get going in Oz.

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

I suggest you apply for a visa first - you being self employed can make things a bit tricky.

One step at a time. You have bags of time to think about getting set up on your own while you wait for the outcome of the various applications needed.
