IT Security in NZ / OZ, employment / wages ?
I am an IT Security specialist based in the UK at the mo, but considering moving to warmer climes
My Question is, are there many employment chances for CISSP, MCSE, CCA, MSDBA engineers in Oz or NZ, and if so, whats the sort of wages on offer over there ???

Maybe you can get you answers from http://www.seek.com.au http://www.mycareer.com.au or http://www.careerone.com.au ?
Without knowing a thing I would say that jobs in the field you mention are less plentiful than previously but there always are some opportunities.

For all the IT industry in Aus the thing seems to be that there are jobs, but they are hard to get because:
- only 20% get advertised, the others are filled in other ways
- there is lots of competition
- they demand tons of experience and qualifications
- wages are not as great as they were a couple years ago
Of all those sites, Seek seems to offer the most opportunities and to be the easiest to use. That will give you a general idea. To have an idea of salaries, go to www.monster.com.au and click "How much are you worth?" or something similar. It has salary estimates for the IT industry and seems to be right on, when compared to the offers you find on Seek.
