Default Second Thoughts - Before we start!

Hi, just found this forum and hope someone can help us out here.

Just a quick question. We are currently considering applying to go to Adelaide via the STNI route (this is the only option available to us at the minute).

Our question is:

Has anyone ever got to Adelaide and moved to another state before the 2 years is up? Is it possible or are you deffo tied for the 2 years?

Thanks for your help

Hi there & welcome!

As far as I understand, if you go the STNI route you are definitely restricted to the nominated area for 2 years. However, you should consider posting this question on the immigration forum as well, because there are some really knowlegable & helpful people there that know all the legal ins & outs.
