British Expats - Seaview Downs Adelaide???

As far as kids go I think it's important to be in an area where there is plenty of houses - not back to back tenaments but decent housing. These areas are going to be the best for them to make new friends and us too.
I would love to live in a semi-rural or an acreage but it would be just too isolated in a new country. We want to be with people, near facilites,schools,beach,parks and pub :beer: etc but still in a fair size house.
I'm a design engineer by trade but am looking for a change after 20 years so am going to buy into a service trade franchise i.e. lawn-mowing, car valeting and so on.If anyone knows of the demand for these services in the areas we have discussed and any likely incomes then any info again would be greatly received.
