Scottish meet up
 

I think it is about time we arranged another meet up for the Scots say in Glasgow, Edinburgh or Aberdeen. What about September, either the 8th or
15th?

am up for that, doesnt matter where as we will make the effort to come to a meet. it would b great to meet others doin the same,:thumbsup:

Thats great Ann, where in Oz are you heading? Been to the last two meets in Glasgow and Edinburgh, most of the folk that attended are now in Australia.......lucky buggers!!:) Hopefully a few more folk will be up for it then we can decide on a location and date.

hiya debbie, hoping to go to rockingham,bunbury, margaret river area of perth, waiting on the golden tickets coming through. done all we can and it's now a case of waiting. not doing anything else at the moment till we hear, so in the meantime just collecting info on areas that we like the look of. hoping to go in the new yr once our daughter finishes nursing degree. what about yourself?

Heading to Brisbane at the start of next year, visa permitting. On a 138 oz sponsored, looked at timings for this and we are looking at an 8mth wait.:huh::huh:

Hi we are in glasgow application lodged June would love to go for a meetup can do either the 8th or 15th of sept in Glasgow or Edinburgh? Where and when do you suggest?

We're in Oz now, landed yesterday so obvously won't make it ,but for those of you who're thinking about going but not sure about meeting a bunch of strangers you really should go along.

I've been to loads now (all in the UK) and I've met some really lovely people, and made some fantastic new friends by going to meets.

Have a great meet. I've got my first Aussie meet tomorrow night (nothing like taking it easy:D)

We are in Broughty Ferry and are heading to Perth on the 20th Sept and would meet up if dates ok.

Hi everyone

Will wait till a few more folk come on board before deciding where to meet, say give it a few more days. There must be more Scots on here wanting to meet up for a few drinks and a wee chat with other folk in the process of moving to Oz. Come on don't be shy!!;)

either date is ok with us, in aberdeen, perth or wherever, not bothered. just would b great to talk to others goin through the same. where r all the other scots at the moment? doesnt seem to be many on the forum!!! hope to hear where soon.:unsure::thumbup:

Can't decide on a location at the moment as everyone seems to be from all over Scotland! Will wait for another couple of days and see what happens. Would anyone be willing to travel and pay hotel accommodation so that we could all meet?

Hi everybody I'm from Haddington and hoping to be in Perth for march next year and would really like to meet up with other people in the same boat as me. Just say where and when and i'll try and get there. :thumbup:
