Default schools in Sydney area

How can I get the private schools rating and listing in sydney area. Any suggestion for a good Grammar school in Parramatta area.

Thanks

There's no official rating of schools in NSW private or public. The closest you get is a list of schools (rated by the press), once the HSC results come out in about a week's time.

Not sure what you mean by Grammar schools (do you mean state-run schools for more academically-minded kids?) If so, the equivalent in NSW are Selective High schools - one of the best is James Ruse High which is quite close to Parramatta. Extremely competetive and difficult to get into - exams are held each August for intake the following year.

If you're looking for good private schools, then The Kings School (for boys) is one of the best. Tara (for Girls) is an equivalent. Both near Parramatta. Naturally neither of them are cheap - you'd be up for around $15000 a year for Kings.
