I know that most of the schools in Perth are English run, I just thought it would be better for my son to finish his 'A' levels off after completing GCSE's, trying not to disrupt his education too much, big enough thing him moving from family and friends without him worrying about his education.

My son is just at the end of his first year of a'levels. He has decided along with us that he wants to come over in October which will mean that he won't complete his a'levels over here. I have spoken to the education over in perth and they have said that they will assess where he is at when we get over there, he can then either slot in and go into the final year for tertiary exams or go back a year and do the last year again. He is happy to do either. We feel that school is an excellent area for him to make friends and to get a feel of the education system over there. He has also said that he may decide to have a complete change of direction with his career over there so he needs to speak to a careers advisor when we get there for advice on course work etc.
