Schools in Perth
Hi wondered if anyone had any experience of applying for kindy in Perth from the u.k? We are moving out there later in the year but making our final visit in Feb. I am trying to organise the visits etc (I am aware the schools are still on holiday at the mo.) Although will probably go down the state school line have spoken to a couple of private schools who have told me their waiting lists were closed til 2008!!
Does anybody know how hard it is to get into a chosen state school?? What if you don't have an Oz address? let alone in the catchment area. Are the kindys very over-subscribed?
Any info. would be gratefully received. It's 7am, been up for a few hours..not really losing much sleep thinking about this!!

If you cant get Your 3 year old into kindy there are nurseries called day care centres just like over here and I understand they are very reasonably priced, I may send our 3 year old to one as kindy is only for 4 mornings and He goes to private nursery here for 3 full days a week and loves it(not that I want a bit more peace of course!) I have got to get the children ready for school now but will email you back later this morning.
Love
