Schools

We are torn between two schools in Aberfoyle and Flagstaff. Can anyone tell me how I can find out the league tables for schools in Adelaide?

Wait until you get there so you can make an informed decision which is right for your child and you. We all have different views on what is a good school. My shortlist is 15 - so we will be busy visiting schools as soon as we arrive.

South Australia doesn't actually have league tables.

Only WA and Victoria have tables, and they only relate to final years results. But the SA government does collect them and makes them available to schools - so you can ask for a comparison of the particular schools results against the "average". I actually didn't find this to be very useful, but better than nothing ... just. Just as valuable is a visit to see which school seems the best fit for your child .. not terribly scientific but intuition is valuable.

I think another visit to the schools when we are there will be needed. Thank you for your replies.;)
