Schools!!!!
Can anyone tell me what age are children in the last year of school in Queensland? I have had someone tell me it's 18 yrs old then someone else tell me it's the same here in Britain - 15/16yrs? Also will hopefully be moving to Mackay - does anyone know any websites I can visit concerning schools in that area?

My daughter can leave school at age 15, from year 10, or stay on till year 12 and leave at 17. Some in her class are a year older,. and would therefore be 16 or 18 when they may leave.
Also, FOR QLD:
Leaving school
At the moment, students can leave school at 15 years of age. From 2006 the leaving age will be 16 or when a student completes Year 10 (whichever comes first). They then must take part in some form of education or training for two years after they have completed Year 10, or be working in paid employment for at least 25 hours a week. For more information check out the Education Queensland’s information on the senior phase of learning. http://education.qld.gov.au/etrf/faq-leg.html#FAQs_2
