I've been trying to find a middle/high school in Fig Tree pocket via the old tinternet, but i either come across the private boys school or Fig Tree Pocket State School which, i believe, only caters for children up to year 7?

Anyone got any ideas?

Have seen that link on the ourbrisbane site today but it still doesn't tell which 'high' schools are in the catchment for someone living in ftp?

Looks like your local HS will be Kenmore

There are catchment maps if you hunt around on that site.

It may be that, at 11, he still has another year in PS depending on his birthday.
