Hi

Does anyone know when the school term begins and ends in Victoria?

We are hoping to fly across in August and my little girl will be 5 in November just wondering when she will start school.

under the link http://www.dest.gov.au/portfolio_dep...dates_2007.htm you find all school terms for 2007. I hope it works out as a link, am not very familiar with theses technical things.

If she's 5 in November then she will start school in February of next year. My son just started, he turned 5 last august and started school on February 1.

You could have a look at enrolling her at the local 4 year kindy, usually about 12 hours a week until she starts. The local council can give you all the details and most kids do this before starting school here.

Thats good at least we will have some time to get to know the area before she starts school.
