Default School Qualifications

Hi all. My first post here tho' I've been reading the forum for two months. My situaution is this. My wife and I, along with our five children plan to emigrate to Aus, through the Skilled Visa 139. I think, as I have a brother who stays in Melbourne. Decided to use an agent after seeing the TRA forms etc. and our TRA form was sent away early September '04. By my reckoning, and everything being well, I should get my 'sucessfull' TRA back Nov/Dec, send away for my Visa and get it back probably Sep/Oct '05. Allowing 4 months to tie everything up House sale, etc. that would take me to Jan/Feb '06. Now the dilemma; my oldest daughter, 14, is due to sit her 'O' levels in May '06 so I would probably just wait until these were over, June '06. What will this mean to her schooling wise? i.e. when do Austrailian kids do their equivalent? Would her 'O' levels over here allow her to progress to a 'higher' qualification over there? Any advice from folks over there would be very much appreciated.

We also go next summer after our oldest kids finish A levels and o levels. The school I contacted have been very helpful in working out what is best for them. O levels were well regarded and will certainly allow your daughter to go on for her OP (Queesnland), then to Uni.
I would suggest researching a school you think would be good and contacting them directly.
Cheers
