Jayne that is fantastic news!!! BUT be careful if you plan to come on the 457 and hope the 175 will kick in when that comes through- if you come over on your 457 i THINK that invalidates you 175 visa meaning you wouldnt have permanent residency. Check it out with an agent or someone on here JAJ is good and George Lombard is my hero.
Dont want to worry you but also dont want to see you miss out on the benefits of PR.

Hi, Thanks yes am really excited! All being well I should get the permanent residency thro in the next week or so. However if not I have been advised by my agent to come on 457, when they are ready to issue my visa I would have to leave the country for a few days. But as I say hoping that wont be necessary.
Having quotes for shipping and madly trying to get everything done! So many lists! Only 51 days left.

Hi Jane,

I just wanted to say congratulations and hello really. You're the first person I've seen that's heading to Sydney. We're hoping to get out there in Sept/Oct. I'm not a single mum, but have 2 little boys (4 and 2).

I look forward to hearing how you get on, but good luck in the mean time.

Yes have been unbearable at work today!! Trouble is noone understood the significance of it!!

Hi Shirley, Good luck with it all, I am sure it will be worth it. My son is 12 but I have a friend that I met on here who went to Sydney in Jan. Her boys are 4 and 6. I havent found many people going to Sydney either. Yes, please keep in touch and perhaps we can get together for a girly day (and little boys!)when you get there. Any idea what area you are heading for? Jane xx
