Save our Koalas rally! Brisbane 25th Sep
Something close to my heart is saving the Koala! If like myself you'd like to do you're bit, then you might be intrested in this.

The rally takes place on Fri September 25th in Brisbane square, opposite the casino, sign in will take place at 11am and the rally starts at noon.
Senior Koala researcher, Beerwah-based Dr Jon Hanger puts it most succinctly; There has never been a more important time in history to act if we are to save the Koalas into the future. He encourages residents, visitors to show their concern.
I'm by no means a greenie, i just love Australias unique wildlife - and right now it needs our help....

This Koala needs saving ...
Seriously I'm with you. We were reading the other day that if they can raise a certain amount of money they can develop the vaccine to get rid of the disease.
These animals are so unique to Oz that they must be saved - my best birthday pressie was being able to cuddle one at last which I had wanted to do since I was little!
Unfortunately I'm not in Brissie but hope they get a good turn out!

Another way you can help is to log onto www.savethekoala.com
You can do all sorts of things like buy stickers, campain to politicians to protect the biodiversity of Australia and koala habitat, buy t-shirts, adopt Koalas etc, i've just sent for a free collection kit and i'm just going to get friends and neighbours to buy stickers or donate any loose change etc.
They sell a great sticker for $1 "No tree No me".
