Default Sales job question (moving to Perth next year)

Hi,

Just wondered if anyone living in or around Perth could offer some advice??

My husband is an experienced sales manager in retail over here, but really wants a change, mainly due to the weekends/bank holidays he has to work. He wants to stay in sales, but seeing as this is our last xmas here, he wants to make sure he can spend it with family and friends rather than working!!

What he wants to know is if there are any sales jobs in particular that he could look to get experience in over the next 12-18 months whilst awaiting visa, that are relevant to the sales jobs available in WA.

(We are coming over on 176 visa based on my nursing skills, so him changing jobs won't have any effect)

Many thanks for reading,

Holly

any job that sells to corporates that do not operate on weekends themselves?

bank sales, insurance sales, photocopier sales, office furniture sales, office stationery supplies sales... given your moving to perth anything related to construction, engineering and mining?

most construction shuts down over christmass/january so construction related sales would probably mean not working christmas. the whole buliding industry seems to go to sleep for a month

Yeah we are finding it hard too, I've been advertising for 6months now week in week out in the west with not many enquiries.
I'm going to advertise in southwest next week
